I spend a lot of time in coffee shops, and this is one of my favorites. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous and friendly, and the owner is gregarious and welcoming, making a connection with everyone who walks through the door. All of the food I have tried there has been very good, and I’m at especially fond of the bagels. I’ve never seen such a variety of spreads and cream cheeses to bring a bagel to life!
Some of my coffee hangouts I go to work, others to have meetings; It just depends on the vibe I’m looking for. Grounded has all of the vibes, and I’m equally at home working in solitude there or taking friends to hang out or having a professional meeting. It’s clean, attractive, and one of Lexington‘s best kept secrets.

This place was amazing. The staff took the time to explain everything, gave us samples, and gave recommendations based on our preferences. The bagels were 10/10 and the coffee was great too! We’re so glad to have found this place on our vacation.

I came here to study for a nursing exam and it ended up being the perfect spot. The lighting is great, there’s a lot of greenery, and the overall setup makes it really comfortable to sit for a few hours without feeling cramped. It stays relatively quiet, but there’s still relaxed background conversation so it doesn’t feel awkward or silent like a library.
The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, especially with recommendations. The food was honestly 10/10 and the matcha was really good — not overly sweet and actually tasted fresh. I’m really glad I found this place, it’s officially my new go-to study café.

Stopped by Grounded All Day Cafe in Lexington and only had a few minutes, but it was a great experience. The café mocha was fantastic, and the staff were some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met.
They even offered a few free samples of their bacon pepper jam and fig spreads—both were absolutely amazing.
Looking forward to coming back when I’m in Lexington again this April.

Such a great place!! I have struggled to find good coffee in Lexington, but this place is amazing! Such a cute atmosphere. Huge outdoor area, perfect for summer! Everyone is very friendly and engaging.
I do wish they had a simple bacon, egg & cheese breakfast sandwich😊

Overall great experience and place to grab a bite to eat and coffee. They give you a sample flight of the cream cheese on anytime you come in. They truly make it an effort to recommend options on the menu that is tailored to your wants.
Clean dining area and friendly staff!

This was the cutest place! Went with a group for coffee and was pleasantly surprised by delicious sandwich options?? Flavors I didn’t ever think would go together were delicious. Our barista was incredibly sweet, super helpful, and even gave us samples of different spreads to make sure we’d like what we order! All in all, big fan with plans to be back!

*Vegetarian* Best bagel sandwich spot I’ve ever been to! They have a variety of cream cheeses all house made to choose from and they are phenomenal. I ended up ordering 4 times! The sandwich is carefully crafted so that it is not overpowering on the cream cheese and has the perfect amount of veggies/toppings. The staff are very friendly and great people. The atmosphere is the extremely calming, they have a cozy indoor environment but the outdoor patio seating is very vast and all made of handmade wooden furniture. It is an amazing experience that you should go out of your way for. I will definitely visit again when i’m in the area.

Absolutely loved this spot. The food was fantastic, the iced matcha was so good, and the service truly stood out. Friendly, patient, and full of great suggestions. Such a welcoming experience and I cannot wait to go back.
Only small notes are parking can be a bit of a walk and indoor seating is limited, but that will likely feel much easier in nicer weather.

Love Grounded All Day! I’ve discovered it recently in the last month, and I’ve been back four times. It’s a cozy place to get some work done or meet up with a friend. The bagels are phenomenal, as is the “London’s Calling”! I’m pretty picky when it comes to London Fogs. I’ve had a lot in Lexington, and theirs is the best I’ve had.
